That is my philosophy when it comes to taking images. What, exactly, makes this subject special? Show the details. Show its beauty. Tell its story through the image.
Studio photography is magical to me. I am forever facinated that what is shown in the viewfinder isn't what you are going to see after you press the shutter button and the lights pop. When else can you create something beautiful that doesn’t look anything like what your eyes were looking at? That's electrifying to me. That’s modern sorcery.
